A new law puts in place provisions to allow the second Cost of Living Payment 2023 to be paid. Worth £300, this is the second of the 3 scheduled payments and has a qualifying date of 17/9/2023. The qualifying date for the fnal payment of £299 due in Spring 2024, is yet to be announced. Remember that if you can get your client's qualifying Beneft backdated to the qualifying month before 17/9/2023, this will gain them entitlement to the payment.
