I am hoping you can give me information to make a situation clearer to understand.
I am supporting a man who has been self-employed for over 30 years.
In October 2024 he attended an outpatient appointment for a CT Scan and from there admitted as a medical
Emergency and had a triple heart bypass and spent 5 weeks in hospital.
He has since been receiving New Style ESA and PIP, he is still recovering but was thinking to maybe start back work approx. 10-12 hours a week.
Is there any rules or guidance I can give him so he can try starting back to work potentially as a permitted work allowance please too see if he can manage it.
