I would be grateful for some advice on how to proceed with a change in circumstances for someone who is in receipt of a car through the Motability scheme. She has spent three weeks in hospital and will be transferring into a care home. Her husband, who was her primary carer, has been the car driver.
Will he have to return the car now she is permanently resident in a care home? How does one go about doing this? Might he be able to buy it back?
