The government has announced ‘tranche 2’ of the Local Authority Areas where Universal Credit will be rolled out by local Job Centre plus offices from May – July 2015-

New claims will be taken from single people, who would otherwise have been eligible for Jobseeker’s Allowance, including those with existing Housing Benefit and Working Tax Credit claims.

 

The government is currently rolling out Universal Credit to tranche 1 areas from February- April 2015-
