We'd like to share this with you-

Hi. It is definitely worthwhile contacting your local MP. I helped a client apply for PIP last October. Finally resolved last week. Atos refused an interpreter for a home assessment. Even though this was requested on the form. A long running battle between me and Atos then began. I got so fed up with Atos that I asked an MP for support. They contacted Atos and a date was arranged and an interpreter booked. Assessment took place at my clients home. Decision was finally made and he was awarded  PIP. Backed dated. Payment didn’t run smoothly though but has now been paid.

I also contacted another MP for another client who was in real need of PIP payments. Application sent  in May of this year. Rang end of august to see what was happening only to be told as the application had only been submitted in May to call back in 10 weeks’ time.

I explained situation to MP they contacted Atos and DWP.  I received an email this morning and PIP awarded and back dated. Good result.

So it is important to get MP’s involved it’s their job to help so don’t think nothing will happen. Keep going it’s worth it.
