Appeals are on the rise again-
'In April to June 2016, 46,832 appeals against decisions were received, up 21% when compared with the same period in 2015....Following the staged introduction of mandatory reconsideration from April 2013, the number of appeals declined in 2013/14, reaching their lowest in April to June 2014. Since then, the number of appeals has been gradually increasing.'
