Latest UC stats to February 2026 show- 8.3 million people on Universal Credit.
3.3 million UC households (46% of all Universal Credit households) had one or
more deductions taken from their Universal Credit entitlement.
And on migration-
Other statistics show that between July 2022 and end of March 2026:
total of 2,353,319 individuals in 1,822,374 households have been sent
migration notices...87% had made a claim to Universal Credit and
13%(360,030) had not made a claim and their legacy beneft was
ended.
