The government has released new figures- '124,000 households had their benefit capped, almost all of which are capped on UC (540 households had their benefit capped on HB) at May 2025 ...On UC, at May 2025: the number of capped households has increased by 11% (12,300) since February 2025 ...82% of benefit capped households included children.'
