Latest Statistics on Personal Independence Payments(PIP), show that since PIP has started to replace Disability Living Allowance(DLA) since 2013, mandatory reconsiderations are often unsuccessful.
This makes it even more important to encourage clients to then proceed to an appeal. Appeals have dropped by around 80% since mandatory reconsiderations were introduced. Other Statistics show that PIP is the largest area of benefit appeals, with ESA close behind.
